Welcome to the syngo Virtual Cockpit Modality and Steering Client Scenario Online Training. This training module demonstrates how to use the various functionalities of the syngo Virtual Cockpit with interactive software simulations for specific user roles (Modality Technologist, Steering Technologist). It is recommended that you complete the simulations for both user roles. Please note: The information in this online training relates to the software version VA10 or higher. Congratulations. You have completed the syngo Virtual Cockpit Modality and Steering Client Scenario Online Training. Listed below are the key points that have been presented. Login with your credentials Click on the syngo Virtual Cockpit icon Select your user role in the login dialog box Enter your user credentials and click Login Depending on the selected user role, the Modality, Physician or Expert Client is started Interact with other users via the chat, call and request attention functionality Chat functionality Select a person or group from the Contacts section - or - In the Recent sessions section, select a recent conversation Type a message in the Message field of the Conversation section - or - Click the arrow icon next to the Message field to select a predefined message Click Send Predefined messages can be configured by the IT Administrator of your institution. Call functionality Select a contact from the Contacts or from the Conversation section Click the Call icon next to the contact name The contacted person has to accept the call A missed call is indicated by a marker in the history icon of the user's Contacts section Request attention Click the request attention icon to get the attention of a specific user The recent message bubble of the person from whom you need attention will glow and a ring tone will be heard Enable and close the Expert-i remote connection (Modality Technologist) Enable the Expert-i remote connection Click the Expert-i status icon on the status bar The Expert-i Provide Access dialog box opens and the Access Code is generated. Provide the Access Code to your colleague Select one of the Connection Modes: View Only Full Access Click Allow Connection End the Expert-i remote connection Inform your colleague about ending the collaboration Click the Expert-i icon Select Close The Expert-i remote connection is ended and the Expert-i status icon turns grey. Establish and close the Expert-i remote connection (Steering Technologist) Establish the Expert-i remote connection Click the plus icon in the middle of the modality slot Select the modality you want to connect Enter the Access Code that the Modality Technologist provided and click OK End the Expert-i remote connection Inform your colleague about ending the collaboration Click the X icon on the upper right corner of the modality slot Change the layout of the modality slots (Steering Technologist) Switch the screen layout to have the Conversation and Camera sections aligned vertically/horizontally On the second monitor, you can change the size of the modality slots Click the lock icon on the right border of the modality slot to lock the modality to the modality slot Change the user role Click the Menu icon Click logout Select the user role Enter your user credentials Click login Configure the audio device Click the Menu icon Select settings > Audio Configure microphone: Select corresponding device from the Input list Configure speakers: Select corresponding device from the Output list Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to: Login with your credentials Interact with other users via the chat, call and request attention functionality Enable and close the Expert-i remote connection (Modality Technologist) Establish and close the Expert-i remote connection (Steering Technologist) Change the layout of the modality slots Change the user role Configure the audio device After reading the disclaimer, please proceed to the final assessment to complete the online training. When you allow the Steering Technologist to connect with your modality, you can choose between two Connection Modes: View Only: Enables the remote user to see your modality acquisition screen Full Access: Enables the remote user to directly interact with the system To enable the Expert-i remote connection, you have to provide the Access Code for authentication to the Steering Technologist. Depending on the use case scenario in your facility, it may be necessary to change the user role. Click the Menu icon Click logout The login dialog box appears. Select the user role Enter your user credentials Click login At the Steering client, you can change the display of the modality slots to meet your requirements. It is possible to Change the layout Resize the modality slots Lock the modality slots Layout options Learn how to change the layout of the modality slots. Tab TitleTextSwitch screen layout You can switch the order of the Conversation section and Camera sections of the modality slots. Click this icon on the right border of the modality slot, to switch the screen layout. The Conversation section and the Camera sections align vertically. Click this icon to align the Conversation section and Camera sections horizontally. Resize modality slots On the second monitor of the Steering Client, you can change the size of the modality slots. To enlarge the corresponding modality slot, click the resize icon (< or >) on the top of the screen. To resize the modality slots to equal size, click the I icon on the top of the screen. Lock modality Click the lock icon on the right border of the modality slot, to lock the modality to the modality slot. The modality will be opened automatically in the modality slot, the next time the Steering Client is opened. Click the unlock icon, to unlock the modality from the modality slot. Close modality Click the X icon to close the modality. Inform the Modality Technologist before you end the Expert-i remote connection. You can control and configure your audio device settings. Click the Menu icon Select Settings Select Audio Configure microphone: Select corresponding device from Input list Configure speakers: Select corresponding device from the Output list You can interact with logged-in users via the chat functionality: Select a person or group from the Contacts or from the Conversation section Click the Call icon next to the contact name The contacted person has to accept the call.
