E-Clip about syngo.via CT Cardiac, including the following topics: Cardiac Overview, CT Calcium Scoring, CT Coronary, CT Cardiac Function and Interactive Spectral Imaging. Duration 9:29 min.

Singlecut cardiac workflow provides you with Smart Tools for reading your cardiac cases, whether it involves risk stratification with calcium scoring. Ruling out coronary heart disease. Stenosis evaluation? Stent planning. Functional analysis or a complete assessment of myocardial function based on its enhancement or on quantitative dynamic CT. Myocardial perfusion. The following movie shows you how to evaluate cardiac CT datasets. Assessment of coronary artery calcium burden can be used as a prognostic indicator of the patient's risk of a cardiac event. Single CT calcium scoring supports you in calculating the agatston equivalent score, the mass score. And the volume score of each coronary artery, as well as the corresponding total scores across all coronary arteries. The calculated score is further illustrated with a percentile chart and the coronary age of the patient. When you load a data set or click and drop a data set from the series panel, the automatic scoring automatically labels calcified lesions inside coronary arteries. You can manually draw or delete a region of interest if necessary by using the mini toolbar at the bottom of the scoring segment. The next step is CT coronary, where you can perform a detailed evaluation of the coronary vessels. When you open this task, it has already preprocessed the images by finding the series with the best diastole. Isolating the heart. Segmenting and labeling the main coronary arteries and its major branches as well as saphenous vein grafts. To view and navigate through the MSR segments, right click and vertically drag the mouse. Or use the scroll wheel. You can also move or rotate the reference lines to look for a specific orientation. To enhance your workflow, the vessel surf tool allows immediate 3D navigation without center lines and in occluded vessels. Just select the tool. Click the vessel you want to follow. When right click and drag the mouse pointer to surf. The segments update to display an orthogonal and longitudinal view of the corresponding vessel. One helpful tip to get the most out of this tool. Change the longitudinal view to a methin with five to 10 millimeters thickness. The coronary arteries and grafts, which have been automatically detected, are labeled and displayed as a CPR on the corresponding segments. This view can be very helpful because it provides an overview of the complete path of the vessel and its lumen in a longitudinal view and a cross-sectional view orthogonal to the center of the vessel. Navigation is easy. Simply right click and horizontally drag the mouse pointer over the CPR to rotate around the axis. Or drag the yellow reference over the vessel to navigate along the vessel. The cross-sectional segments update, while the yellow reference moves to indicate the position of the framed segment. In the vessel definition step you can find a set of semi automatic and manual tools. In case you need to correct center lines or create additional center lines. If quantification is needed, for example for assessing the severity of a stenosis or for planning stent placement, just click the stenosis measurement tool on the mini toolbar. This will activate 3 references. Drag the yellow reference over the stenosis and the red and green references in front of and behind the stenosis as proximal and distal references. It will calculate the minimum and maximum diameters for every reference and the stenosis ratio in area and diameter by comparing the lumen on the yellow marker with the lumen on the red and green markers. Click the create finding tool if you want to send the measurement to your findings navigator for further archiving. For reporting purposes, you can easily create radial CSR ranges with the corresponding function in the upper left corner menu. In the case of multiphase data, CT cardiac function allows you to read and diagnose CT angiography, images of the left and right heart ventricles for the evaluation of cardiomyopathy. The cname mode. And the automatic orientations for standard cardiac lanes, aortic valve and mitral valve help you make a first visual assessment. The time volume curve displays the dynamic behavior of the left ventricular volume during the whole heart cycle. If quantification is needed, all the relevant parameters such as end systolic and end diastolic volume, myocardial mass and ejection fraction, are automatically calculated for both the left and the right ventricle and marked for further archiving. Local left ventricular functional parameters such as wall motion, wall thickening and wall thickness are visualized in easy to read. AA compliant 17 segment olar maps. The perfusion evaluation step enables the simultaneous analysis of the full spectrum of myocardial perfusion data. This includes first pass and late enhancement, dual energy perfused blood volume and quantitative dynamic CT myocardial perfusion data such as blood flow and blood volume data. All findings are listed in the findings navigator. In addition, for individual markers measurements such as polar maps and snapshots, you can save all global function results for reporting in the same way as another cardiac evaluation. The interactive spectral imaging functionality allows you to display different representations of dual energy data by using the interactive image text that is available in the segments. To use the interactive spectral imaging functionality, you need to load a sectral postprocessing data set. When you initially load an app data set, the main representation is displayed. Available representations are conventional connect mixed mono plus VNC, iodine and pure lumen. You can choose one of them from the menu opened by right clicking on the current representation name on the left side of a segment. You can also switch the representation by clicking the current representation name on the left side of a segment. You can change the value of Kev in monoenergetic plus images by entering the value of Kev. Or by using a slider which can be shown by right clicking on the Kev on the left side of a segment. The pure lumen is available only for a specific vascular spectral post. Processing V data set from a quantum technology system. It shows only the lumen of the vessels by subtracting the calcium from the image.
