POCcelerator™ Web – SIEMENS Healthineers Create and Manage Device Maintenance Job Aid Device Maintenance Device maintenance involves creating a maintenance task, assigning it to a maintenance plan, and then recording maintenance activities. There are three types of maintenance tasks: • Device-Specific (Manual): tasks that can be assigned to a particular device model • Device-Specific (Automatic): tasks that can be assigned to device models that can communicate the completion of these tasks • General tasks: tasks that are assigned to locations and cannot be assigned to any specific device model Note: To perform maintenance activities, users must have the appropriate user group authorization. Select Devices > Maintenance tasks 2. Select + New task Task type Device-Specific (Automatic) 3. Enter a name for the task Device model * 4. Select a task type Event Message' a. For Device-Specific (Manual or Automatic) tasks, select the Device Model Schedule Every 1 hour(s) at 1:04 PM (0 hour grace period) b. For Device-Specific (Automatic) tasks, select a predefined Enabled maintenance Event Message to associate with the task Instructions URL 5. Select the calendar icon to view the default schedule or set Instructions a new schedule 6. Select the Enabled checkbox to make the task available to be assigned to a maintenance plan 7. Enter an Instructional URL or additional Instructions for the task, if applicable 8.
