
Breast MRI Image Quality – Numaris X
**The MR Image Quality 8-hour workshop is a prerequisite to attending this course.**
In evaluating breast cancer, MR breast imaging has become an important problem-solving tool as an adjunct to Mammography and Ultrasound. MR breast imaging may be ordered for high-risk groups, cancer of unknown primary, scar or recurrence, and ruptured implants. MR breast imaging can be susceptible to a variety of artifacts that may affect the image quality.
The following artifacts are discussed in this course:
- Positioning-Related Artifacts
- Fat Saturation Inhomogeneity (B0) Artifacts
- Dielectric (B1) Artifacts
- Other Artifacts
